About

We don't care about your slide deck. We care about your cost-per-mile.

Carrier Pulse Operations was founded by people who spent the first chapter of their careers in the cab and the second chapter behind the dispatch desk. We are not management consultants who picked up trucking as a vertical. We are operators who learned the business at 3 a.m. on the shoulder of an interstate, in the safety office reviewing a near-miss with a driver, and at the kitchen table watching an owner try to figure out why a fleet that grossed more than ever last year somehow took home less.

We started this firm because we kept getting hired into the same conversation: a carrier between 10 and 150 trucks that has scaled past the point where the owner can run everything personally, but hasn't yet reached the size where a full-time executive bench makes financial sense. The result is almost always the same — revenue keeps climbing, margin keeps eroding, the owner is working seventy-hour weeks, and nobody can put their finger on exactly where the money is going.

Our answer is to embed inside the operation as quiet operators rather than visiting consultants. We sit at the dispatch desk during a real load assignment cycle. We ride along on a route. We walk the maintenance bay during a driver complaint. We listen to the calls between your team and the brokers paying short, the factoring reps pulling reserves, and the safety officers who haven't been told the full story. By the end of the engagement we have a per-truck, per-week, per-dollar map of where your operation is leaking — and a written plan for closing each gap.

We are deliberately small and deliberately unglamorous. We don't sell a methodology, we don't license a software platform, and we don't host a podcast. We take a small number of engagements per quarter so that the partners stay in the field instead of in pitch meetings. Every owner we work with gets a senior operator in their building, not an associate with a slide template.

The deliverable isn't a sixty-page deck. It's a healthier P&L, a dispatch team that holds itself to a standard, a driver bench that stops bleeding, and a compliance posture that lets you sleep through a renewal. If that's the work you want done, we'd be a good fit. If you want a binder for the cabinet, you'll be happier elsewhere.

/ What we believe

Operating principles.

These aren't marketing slogans. They are the rules we hold ourselves to on every engagement, and the reason we turn down work that doesn't fit them.

  • We embed before we advise.

No recommendation leaves our team without first being tested against what we observed on the floor — not against what your management team told us in a meeting.

  • We report to the owner, not to a committee.

Findings go to the person whose name is on the loan. Distribution beyond that is the owner's call, not ours.

  • We finish the work.

We don't drop a report and disappear. We stay through the implementation cadence until the new operating standard sticks.

  • We don't sell software.

We are paid for outcomes, not for licenses. If a tool you already own can do the job, we'll teach your team to use it.

Stop the Bleeding.

Tell us about your operation. We'll come back within one business day with two or three specific things we'd look at first — no pitch deck, no obligation.
